Any job can be lightened when you use the right equipment. That’s my husband’s favourite expression. He’d also say it you want any job done right; you have to use the right tools. I’ve watched him tackle various projects using that philosophy – like when he turned our garage into an extension of our living space. He always made sure he had the right tools for the job at hand.
And he’s not afraid to use the heavy equipment if it’s called for. I sometimes think though, that he likes using the equipment just for the sake of having the chance to use it – like some overgrown kid. As a case in point, he’s mentioned a few times that he’d love the chance to use one of those skid steer loaders– if he could only find the right project that called for it.
