There is a special term for someone who thinks that the world is going to end very soon.  We saw this earlier this year when Harold Camping was promoting his idea that the rapture was due to occur on May 21.  Well, the word is doomsayer.  You may remember those people who would carry signs in the middle of a downtown area that read, ‘The End Is Near’.  Well that’s the thing.

You have to decide for yourself if there is any merit to reports of these things occurring as they say.  In other words, you have to use a certain amount of common sense, opinions from those who are better placed than you and who can provide more information, and most importantly,  the Word of God.

Just like signs from an ekg that a doctor reads and determines the health of his patient, so too can certain signs of the times also help you decide for yourself if these things are about to occur.

The best thing about having a job is the benefits that we get from work. I know that not everyone is lucky to have such benefits. But for me I am fortunate to have a secure job and benefits such as dental and vision insurance. You probably know that dental and vision is the most expensive medical expenses. But thanks to my benefits at work. I don’t have problems with dental and vision expenses because I have insurance.
