“The Photo Studio Rental”

Space is at a premium when you’re living in a three bedroom townhouse with four other people.  Every square foot is occupied by the usual appliances, furniture, toys  – and boxes filled with everything else we’re not using at the moment.  It can be a challenge to set apart an area in the house for such things as a photography studio.

Why would I want to have a photography studio in a house that barely has enough room for the occupants?  Photography is my passion.  I have been interested in taking beautiful pictures of everything inside and outside the home – as well as the living in it – for a long time.  This is why I want a studio.  It’s the only way to properly compose a portrait – by controlling the light and physical arrangement around the subject.

I have managed to dig out a reasonably large enough area in the basement where I can do my photography portraiture work.  But it’s not the only thing in the room, and the area is continuously invaded by little people and toys and other projects that happen to be going on.  And there are always other distractions from simply sharing the studio with all the other goings-on in a busy household.  It would seem like the only alternative at this point, without moving into a bigger place, is to find another location where I could do my work.

Now what do you normally do when you can’t afford to own something on your own?  Well, you’d rent it of course.  Basically, I’m thinking of using a Photo Studio Rental to solve my current lack of space for a proper photographer’s studio.  I wasn’t even aware that you could rent a studio for such purposes until recently.

So the idea is to temporarily set up my more important shoots in rental space.   This should give me enough control over my time and work to tackle my more ambitious portraiture projects until I have space enough of my own at some point later on.
