We have a friend who recently upgraded their kitchen.  I remember thinking before its remodelling, that this particular kitchen didn’t seem to have much going for it originally.  It was nearly indistinguishable from almost any other kitchen in a house of that age – 30 or 40 years old.  The colors certainly didn’t pop out at you, and the cabinets were of the plainest wood-painted design.  So it was certainly a perfect candidate for a kitchen remodeling Boca Raton.

Well, when all was said and done, the new kitchen was light years ahead of the old.  They had newer composite kitchen cabinets installed that were much lighter in color – which in itself took years off of the apparent age of the kitchen.  And one of the next major improvements was the lighting, which was brought into the 21^st century by changing the old center globe fixture into multiple pot lamps – both hanging and recessed.   In my opinion, this particular change was huge and is often the single greatest improvement you can make with a kitchen or other room in your house.

They also changed the counter tops, added a backsplash and upgraded the sink.  The end result was that the whole house – and not just the kitchen – was made to look like it could have been built only a few years ago and not decades.
