I just discovered another online challenged. It’s called Bible in 90 Days Blogging through the Bible in 90 Days! so I just signed up a while ago and I will start tomorrow. I guess that’s today since it’s already 2am in the morning.
By participating in this reading program I am making the commitment to read the entire Bible with others. I know this is going to be tough because I’m working 6 days a week and straight night.
In 24 hours I will be using 9 hours a day for working so I have 16 hours left but I need some sleep! I’m also a mother of 2! Well you can see its going to be hard but I’m sure that if I do it and stick to it I will make it. This is going to be my first reading the whole bible. I read my bible but never finish the whole book. I started in first chapter before but always jumping to another chapter you know so this time I will make sure I will read the whole book for 90 day! I’m late but I will try to catch up….
I pray that God will help and guide me through this challenging journey! If anyone would like to join please feel free to check it out!
Today’s reading is Genesis 1:1- Genesis 16:16 (or pages 1-12 if you are using the Bible in 90 Days Bible.)
Today’s Daily SOAP
Devotional: Day 1: I’m to be a helper
that’s a good goal…I’ve never read through the bible…so much of it I’ve never even read.
I think this is great! Make sure you find time to sleep.
Blessings,
Ginger
What a wonderful goal.
So encouraging Agring. Go for it! God give you the grace to persevere, and may it be a joy!
Keep me posted on your progress.

If you’ve got 2 children and work 6 days a week then you’re going to need an audio book of the Bible to finish your goal. I’d still be impressed if you finished just the Jewish version, i.e. just the Old Testament, without the New Testament. Just make sure that you’re not reading from the version with the added 4 new Gospel Books, including the second Book from Mark. I think that the King James 1 is about the most concise of the 12 versions of the Bible that you can buy in the bookshops nowadays.
Reading through the Bible is certainly a great goal. They say it is the busy people who get things done, and it sounds like you are really busy so I’m sure you can accomplish your goal if you really put your mind to it.
Blessings,
Charlotte
I’m so excited for you that you are jumping in! Although our group is ahead of you, I’ve got lots of resources on my site so click around and let me know how else I can help you!
And, no, you don’t need an audio Bible as one commenter suggested– you can do this by reading every word.
Yes, this is a great way to read the Bible!
