About The Forever Word

I’m a Christian who loves God and my family. I’m a Mother of 2 beautiful children, a 6 year old daughter and almost 2 year old son. I’m addicted to Digital Scrapbooking and Photography. I also love cooking, baking, gardening and anything that makes me excite like Blogging and travel!

God made everything

This week I started reading a baby bible for my baby. I know he’s still very young to understand but I’m sure he can hear me. He can’t understand it but I guarantee that as soon as he understood what I have reading for him it will be easier for him to understand the word of God. I’m also reading it along with my daughter and she reads some of it. The book is called “The Baby Bible Storybook for Boys”. It’s written by Robin Currie.
Let me share with you the first story goes like this:
This is taken from Genesis 1-2

Long ago there was nothing in the world-no cars or dogs or ice cream. Everything was dark. (Close your eyes and see how dark it was.)
Then God did a wonderful thing. God made the sun and moon and all the stars. (Open your eyes and see the light.)
God made all the elephants and flowers and bumblebees. God made everything..and God made you too. (Point to yourself.)
You are one of the best things God made.
Thank you God for making me. Amen

Now it’s obvious that God made us all and that God is powerful and can do wonders. There’s no doubt about that!

That is so sweet. I had not heard of the baby bible. You can’t start too young. Thanks for sharing this with us on Spiritual Sundays.

Beautiful. Yes, I agree — read now. They understand more than you know. What a blessing to train up a young one.

I’ve not heard of this before, but you can never begin too early teaching little ones about the word of God.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and for your comment.

I think that is awesome that you are starting early. What can go wrong? We believe not by sight but by faith. And believing comes from hearing the Word. Happy SS and I’m glad to have come back and read others posting still. Coz I was blessed by your post. God bless.

That is so sweet. I am glad you are reading to your baby. I read to mine… in fact, I started when they were in the womb. Today, they are avid readers! They still have their first bible, which was written in language similiar to yours. Precious!
