I’m a Christian who loves God and my family. I’m a Mother of 2 beautiful children, a 6 year old daughter and almost 2 year old son. I’m addicted to Digital Scrapbooking and Photography. I also love cooking, baking, gardening and anything that makes me excite like Blogging and travel!
Our son goes bonkers every time he hears the fire engines pulling out of the station which is just across the road from us. He drags us to the front door so that he can see the engines roar past, lights and sirens blazing. It’s kind of cute, but it does tend to get tiring.
Those fire trucks are always popular with the kids – especially boys – it seems. They’re even popular without the lights and sirens – sitting outside the fire station with the mill hose unfurled and the ladders extended.
I was planning to go to the beach today but when I got out from work the weather seems cold but the sun is out. Anyway I watch the weather closely and look like its warm so we ended up going. We went to Wasaga beach and the water was warm. The kids enjoyed it very much especially son. He loves playing along the shore with his new beach truck and shovel and all that!
Are you ready for the next wave in online social interaction – for doctors and patients? This is exciting news, that there is now everything in place for secure and private interaction between doctors like Sara Pastoor, MD and patients. This promises to make communicating with doctors as easy as opening a browser and typing your name and email.
We already take social media for granted in this online world of ours. Maybe in the very near future we will see more doctors opening the communication lines up as fully as if you were communicating with your friends on a Facebook page (only with the right privacy settings in place).
This coming weekend is a family time again. We are planning to go to an airshow and this is going to be my first time to watch. I was planning to go on Saturday but my daughter has a soccer photoshoot and it’s beyond our control meaning we can’t change it nor cancel. Their team is scheduled that day and what a bummer. Oh well thank God there is still show on the Sunday and it’s Father’s Day! I think it’s perfect timing!
My daughter’s ballet recital was already over about 2 weeks ago. As usual we went to the auditorium that they used last year. It’ s one of the high school building. Thankfully it was held on a Saturday so I was able to join the family but I haven’t slept at all that day. I went to bed after we got home at a later time. The theme was Lion King!
We have to be careful not to turn the music up too loud in our current home. The reason is that we’re living in an attached condo-style house where the neighbours would easily hear the deep bass of our high end sound system. We used to live in a detached home where we could raise the volume higher without disturbing anyone in the vicinity. But not now.
It’s almost come to the point where we don’t need a sound system at all anymore. So I wouldn’t be surprised to see our stereo next to a Fishman Amplifiers for sale ad in the local newspaper.
This poses a potential problem however if our children ever decide to take up an instrument that uses an amplifier like a bass or electric guitar. I wouldn’t want to discourage them from pursuing an interest in any instrument. But we’ll have to make alternative arrangements if they ever do decide to do that.
